ABOUT ME

I am Emma, a mother to a son and daughter and have two grandchildren.

 

I have a degree in Biology and Health Science, a post graduate Diploma in Nutrition and taught Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrition at University for several years.

​

After building up a franchise company over 22 years, my life circumstances changed and I decided to revert back to my science background and created The Modern Menopause. I have thus been able to incorporate my own personal experience of the peri-menopause and menopause, my interest in human anatomy and physiology alongside my background of teaching and training to start what I hope will be an informative and enjoyable guide and support for those who wish to be better informed.

I became a CPD accredited Executive Menopause Coach, updated my expertise in Nutrition and Exercise with a CIMSPA accredited Nutrition in Menopause course, and an accredited course in Menopause Movement. Most recently I updated my knowledge with a CPD accredited course by Newson Health  in "Confidence in the Menopause".

​

I have gained accreditation for The Modern Menopause to become a CPD provider and have 3 courses CPD accredited "Menopause Mentor" "Menopause Specialist Coach" and "Communication and Public Speaking".

 

Knowing how the peri menopause and menopause can affect so many people negatively, both physically and psychologically, I am committed to Educate, Equip and Empower people with my knowledge and support.

As an Executive Menopause Coach, I am available to provide professional Menopause in the Workplace training, bespoke webinars,

consultancy to businesses, as well as 1:1 and small group mentoring and support.
